As part of its vision to develop vocational education and raise the competence of support staff in the field of dentistry, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery at An-Najah National University is launching a specialized vocational training program entitled: "The Intensive Course for Dental Assistants." This program will be held at the University's Rawabi campus, under direct academic supervision from the Faculty, and implemented by an elite group of the University's faculty members, with the participation of national and international trainers.

Theoretical Topics (5 days):

Introduction to the dental assistant profession and their role in the dental team.

Dental anatomy and basic medical terminology.

Infection control and sterilization procedures.

Dental instruments, materials, and tray preparation.

Clinical chairside assistance and professional communication with the dentist and the patient.

Practical Skills (4 days):

Practical application of sterilization and infection control procedures.

Preparation of working trays and organization of the clinic environment.

Assisting during restorative procedures and clinical simulation.

Training on radiography positioning and clinic workflow.
