Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the research process across disciplines, offering new ways to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This course is particularly designed for researchers, academics, and postgraduate students who wish to integrate AI tools responsibly throughout the research journey from topic generation to publication. Through interactive discussions and hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to use AI to refine research questions, conduct literature reviews, develop manuscripts, and select suitable journals. Emphasis will be placed on ethical considerations, responsible prompting strategies, and maintaining academic integrity while benefiting from AI’s capabilities.

Notes

Amjad Badah holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and Translation, and he is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Linguistics at the University of Málaga. His research interests focus primarily on Translation Studies, Machine Translation, and Artificial Intelligence–based Translation. Additionally, he conducts research on English as a Second Language, particularly on English for Specific Purposes, Online Language Teaching & Learning, and Artificial Intelligence in L2 Learning. To date, Amjad has authored and co-authored 17 research papers published in internationally indexed journals, and he has completed over 20 specialized professional development courses on research, academic writing, and publication offered by leading global analytics and publishing institutions, including Scopus, Web of Science, Elsevier, Sage, Wiley, and Nature. Since 2021, Amjad has been working as a trainer and for research writing and publication with An-Najah National University and Al-Balqa Applied University. He has designed and delivered over 40 training programs, reaching more than 600 researchers, including faculty members and postgraduate students across the Arab world. In addition, he contributes to the academic community as an editor for two journals specializing in language and humanities research and as a reviewer for six Scopus-indexed journals.He is also a member of the Association of Professors of English and Translation at Arab Universities and the Palestine Trainers Association.
