Description

Lectures, practical workshops, live surgeries, case discussions, and assessments. Candidates must successfully pass an entrance examination prior to enrollment in the course. At the end of each module, participants are required to complete a module-based examination to assess their theoretical and practical competence.


Content:

  • Maxillary anatomy and bone assessment.
  • Zygomatic and pterygoid implant design.
  • Surgical techniques and flap design.
  • Immediate loading protocols and prosthetic planning.
  • Risk assessment and complication management.


Practical Component sections:

  • Maxillary anatomy and bone assessment.
  • Hands-on and mastering surgical techniques and placement of zygomatic and pterygoid implant on models and animal jaws.
  • Flap management and suturing

Acquired Skills

  • Plan and execute zygomatic and pterygoid implant placement.
  • Apply immediate loading techniques safely.
  • Recognize and manage surgical and prosthetic complications. 
  • Understand anatomy and indications for zygomatic and pterygoid implants.
  • Learn surgical placement and immediate loading protocols.
  • Manage complex maxillary atrophy cases. 

Target Group

This course is intended for graduate dentists who hold a valid license to practice dentistry issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, and who are interested in developing their theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in the field of dental implantology
