This module in brief, practice-oriented course introduces the Montessori philosophy and how to enact it in a prepared learning environment. Participants will explore the method’s core principles, developmental foundations, and the purpose and use of key Montessori materials (apparatus) across areas of learning.

• set up and manage a basic prepared environment
• select, present, and sequence core materials to support child-led learning.
