An-Najah National University – Continuing Education Center concluded, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the activities of the course “Integrated Artificial Intelligence Tools: From Deep Models to Digital Vision,” delivered by Dr. Aseed Fatayer via Zoom. The course began on October 25, 2025, and witnessed broad participation from various academic and professional groups.
The course was attended by graduate students, early-career researchers, faculty members, and researchers from civil society and governmental institutions, in addition to school teachers. Participants engaged with an intensive training program covering the latest tools and trends in applied artificial intelligence.
The course included a set of advanced topics, most notably:
- Understanding the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence and its applications in scientific research.
- Effectively and accurately employing AI tools across different stages of the research process.
- Acquiring skills in using neural networks and deep research agents for data analysis.
- Applying prompt engineering techniques to guide AI toward producing disciplined and reliable knowledge.

- Using smart reference-management tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, and Citation Machine AI for academic documentation.
- Verifying the accuracy and credibility of AI-generated research outputs through critical thinking.
- Adopting responsible research practices aligned with global trends and policies for employing AI to support sustainable scientific research.
Participants emphasized the importance of this course in developing their research capacities, especially given the rapid expansion of AI use across various scientific fields. They also praised Dr. Aseed Fatayer’s training approach and the practical examples and modern tools he provided, which contribute to enhancing the quality of research outputs.
