Al-Najah Innovation Park – Al-Najah Academy for Future Skills and Lifelong Learning, in partnership with IATA Mark Academy for Training and Development (IATA MARK), organized an introductory workshop for the Tourism and Travel Expert course on Sunday, 21/12/2025, at the headquarters of Al-Najah Innovation Park. The event was attended by a group of graduates, owners of tourism and travel agencies, trainees, and individuals interested in the tourism and travel sector.

The introductory meeting included a comprehensive presentation of the course objectives and training modules. Dr. Jaafar Abuhabrah from An-Najah National University delivered a presentation on the importance of the tourism sector and its role in development, highlighting the need to prepare professional competencies in tourism and travel. He also emphasized the impact of this course on enhancing practical skills and keeping pace with labor market requirements.

The workshop also featured contributions from trainer Ms. Nasreen Nasrawi and trainer Ms. Areej Abu Shalbak from IATA Mark Academy, who reviewed the training plan and implementation mechanism. They provided an initial overview of the Amadeus system and its importance in managing reservations, issuing tickets, and delivering various travel services.

The workshop witnessed positive engagement from participants, including an open discussion and a Q&A session, which helped clarify the course pathway and expected outcomes, as well as highlight the professional opportunities it offers to participants.

This workshop comes as part of the efforts of Al-Najah Academy for Future Skills and Lifelong Learning to support applied learning, build youth capacities, and enhance their readiness to enter the labor market in the tourism and travel sector.
